In a journey that started with the Loving case in 1967 to today, marriage in Virginia will finally be recognized as an equal right for all her people. (This post includes information on where to get marriage licenses starting this afternoon.)

This afternoon, marriage licenses will be available to all of our family, friends and neighbors who were discriminated against based on an unchangeable part of their being.

Couples can acquire licenses at any Circuit Court in Virginia (for marriages to be performed in the Commonwealth) for $30. Here is where to get them for the areas covered by the Fairfax Young Dems:

In the County and City of Fairfax, you can go to the Fairfax Circuit Court at 4110 Chain Bridge Road, Suite 116. Click here for more information.

In the City of Falls Church, you can go to the Arlington Circuit Court at 1425 N. Courthouse Rd, Suite 6700. Click here for more information.
