Vote Early


 Don’t wait until November 8!  Many Fairfax voters qualify to vote in-person absentee (see below for dates, times & locations), or vote absentee by mail.  Here are a few reasons you can vote early:

  • Will you be outside of Fairfax County (such as Arlington or DC) for any period of time for work, business or personal reasons on Nov. 8?
  • Are you or your spouse going to school or college outside of Fairfax?
  • Will you be working and commuting for 11 hours or more between 6am and 7pm on Nov. 8 (even if you never leave Fairfax County)?
  • Are you disabled or ill, taking care of a disabled or ill family member, or are you pregnant?
  • Are you a first responder?
  • Will you or your spouse be on active military duty outside of Fairfax on Nov. 8?
  • Will you be temporarily residing outside of the US on Nov. 8?
