Fairfax Young Democrats are closing out the month of September with our monthly meeting. We are meeting at the Richard Byrd Library (7250 Commerce Street, Springfield 22150). The meeting begins at 7:30 PM. We have two special guests lined up to talk about what the Fairfax Young Democrats can contribute for the 2017 elections. In addition, we will be discussing future volunteer opportunities and events leading up to November 7. This a great opportunity to bring a friend to the meeting. You can RSVP here.
Join us for our monthly happy hour on September 19th at Bungalow Sports Grille in Springfield. It's a night of food and fun. Come meet other local Young Democrats in your neighborhood and find out how you can help us win in November. RSVP here.
We will be watching the Gubernatorial debate supporting our candidate Ralph Northam... Starts at 7:00 PM so get there early!
Once you walk into Bungalow's look to your right- we have reserved tables in the Whiskey room.
We are quickly approaching the Fairfax Young Democrats Fall Fundraiser on September 24 in Tysons. Every year, we invite innovative speakers bringing new perspectives about Democratic politics and this year is no different. The Fairfax Young Democrats are proud to announce Delegate Sam Rasoul of the 11th House of Delegates District and Run For Something co-founder Ross Morales Rocketto as our special guests at our event. Delegate Rasoul has been working in the Roanoke area bringing a new dimension to outreach within the Democratic Party and expanding the overall base through new messaging. Rocketto is one of the co-founders of a Run For Something, a dynamic progressive organization, working to engage young people in the civic process by getting them into elected offices. You do not want to miss these speakers. Tickets are moving quickly so if you want to attend you should buy today!
