2016 Virginia Democratic Presidential Primary




Today is the Virginia Presidential Primary. The polls will be open from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. You can vote at your general election voting location. To verify your voting location, visit https://vote.elections.virginia.gov/VoterInformation. Voters need to bring a form of photo identification.

Acceptable forms of identification are displayed at  http://elections.virginia.gov/Files/CastYourBallot/VotingInPerson/VoterIdentificationChart.pdf.  Primaries results will begin to be tabulated after 7:00 PM. February FYD General Meeting



Fairfax Young Democrats are hosting their general meeting on February 29 at the Providence Community Center (3001 Vaden Drive, Fairfax VA 22031). Our meeting will begin at 7:30 PM in Classroom #1. We will be discussing the Presidential Primary, General Assembly legislation, volunteer opportunities, spring events, and much more. The deadline to register to vote in the March 1st presidential primary is February 8th. You can register in-person at the Fairfax County Office of Elections (12000 Government Center Parkway, Suite 323, Fairfax 22035) by 5:00 PM or online by 11:59. Anyone 17 years old now who will turn 18 by November 8th can register now and vote in the March 1st presidential primary.
